The Thalay La trek, connecting Khaplu and Shigar, is one of the easiest yet most breathtaking treks in Baltistan, nestled in the foothills of the Karakoram. Thalay Valley, located in Ghanche, Gilgit-Baltistan, near the Shyok River, is abundant in natural resources, including pastures, water, wildlife, and minerals.
